Choose a color scheme: Start by selecting a color scheme for the room, as this will help to tie all the patterns together. Choose a few colors that complement each other, and use them consistently throughout the room.

Choose a dominant pattern: Select one pattern that will be the dominant pattern in the room. This should be the largest pattern or the one that you want to be the focal point of the room.

Add secondary patterns: Once you have chosen a dominant pattern, add one or two secondary patterns to the room. These patterns should be smaller in scale and have a different texture or pattern type than the dominant pattern.

Use different pattern types: Mix different types of patterns, such as geometric, floral, and stripes. This will add visual interest and depth to the room.

Balance the patterns: Make sure to balance the patterns throughout the room by placing them in different areas and at different scales. This will help to create a cohesive look.

Add solids: To balance out the patterns, add solid-colored items, such as pillows, throws, furniture or curtains, in the same color scheme as the patterns. This will help to relax the eye.

Experiment: Don't be afraid to experiment with different pattern combinations. You can always change things up if it doesn't work out.
