It’s no secret that here at LC + Co. we love natural stone. We will try to incorporate it wherever we can. Lately we’ve been seeing a new trend in kitchen design and that is the stone ledge. We love the clean, beautiful and practical look it gives to a kitchen. Use this ledge to display artwork, found trinkets or other useful kitchen gadgets. We especially love this look when the countertop, backsplash and shelf are all the same material for a beautiful, clean, cohesive look. Check out some inspiring kitchens below!

Although we used the word “trend”, we see this look as being one that stands the test of time!

Tip: consider doing a stone ledge in a butlers pantry or in a home bar. We think it would be a real show stopper!
